The left panel represents the earthly Paradise.

The original measures 135 cm of height and 45 cm of width and the above presented copy measures the half of these measurements

This panel depicts four distinct episodes :

At the top, the Fall of the Rebel Angels, who while they are falling change of shape and become toads or insects, theme already developed in the writing Die Diersche Lucidarius, a republishing of the fourteenth century of the Elucidarium of Anselm, where the falling angels are compared with toads.

More below, we find the Eve's creation from an Adam's chest bone.

Even more below and on the right, there is the snake of the original sin with a woman head and clow hands.

Finally, at the bottom the expulsion from earthly Paradise by an armed angel, is crowned by a thorny plant and miscellaneous fruits, one of which is picked at by a bird which is a lust symbol, while the thistle symbolises the temptation of senses.
