The great masters of painting from Renaissance to Romanticism have produced many works dealing with religious or mythologic themes.

Although some of those paintings might be decorative, they hardly fit with today's houses.

The same occurs with portrats of kings or important personages, unless they are one of your antecedents.

It is the reason why Michel Mancini is more interested in scenes of day to day life or other subjects having an undeniable decorative character such as the Story of Nastagio by Botticelli or the Battle of San Romano by Uccello.

As all our copies, our decorative paintings are oil painted on canvas very meticulously and artificially aged, through an exclusive process, to produce the patina, the texture and cracks of the varnish, giving the appearance that they are several centuries old.
